The legend of Karbaza

In old Egypt, there is a tale of a powerful pharaoh named Karbaza, who was believed by the early Egyptians to be a god. During Karbazas life he was said to have been searching for 7 mysterious stones in his quest to construct a device that had the power to change the world, but he never completed this device and over time the legend of the pharaoh Karbaza and his 7 stones has since been forgotten. However, there is one man by the name of Dr. Cornelius Carter that believes he has uncovered new findings about Karbaza and his stones. What did he uncover? No one may ever know since Dr. Carter has recently gone missing inside of a pyramid in Abydos, Egypt where he believed he would find the answers that he was looking for. The pyramid is dangerous, with low oxygen and an array of traps, there is no guarantee that Dr. Carter is still alive. Luckily a brave team of researchers is up to the task and won’t let this mystery go unsolved any longer. Equipped with 60 minutes of oxygen you must enter the pyramid, find Dr. Carter and complete his mission. Can you uncover the secrets of Abydos?

Q: Is this room scary?

A: The theme of this room is not scary, however there is a very minor element of claustrophobia. Though as with all of our rooms players will always have access to an emergency exit.

Q: I have a child that is under 13, will he/she have fun?

A: While we don't have a definite answer for this question, as every child is different, we can say that we feel the theme of this room is fit for all ages.

Q: I saw in the waiver that it said I may be touched by certain employees, does this room have actors that will be touching me?

A: That statement in the waiver is for our future use, when we do have more involved escape rooms. This room has no actors and none of our employees will be making physical contact with you.
